Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship at U. of Nottingham, in U.K.

The University of Nottingham, in the United Kingdom, provides the Developing Solution Masters Scholarship to students who demonstrate ingenuity in devising solutions that will have an impact on their home nations and inspire change. This one-year scholarship is open to citizens of African, South Asian, and other selected Commonwealth countries. In the Arab region, eligible countries include Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Somalia, Sudan, and Tunisia.

The scholarship covers 50 percent or 100 percent of tuition fees for full-time master’s degrees. Candidates must first receive an offer to study a full-time master’s degree at the University of Nottingham in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Science, or Faculty of Social Sciences.

Founded in 2001, Developing Solutions is a premier master’s scholarship programme for students from South Asia, Africa, and other chosen Commonwealth nations. International students who wish to influence the growth of important political, social, structural, economic, or environmental structures back home are the target audience.

Eligibility

Candidates must:

  • Be a citizen of an eligible country.
  • Be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes.
  • Hold an offer to start a full-time master’s degree (including a master’s by research) for 2024/2025 at the University of Nottingham.
  • Not have studied or been awarded an undergraduate or master’s degree outside of your home country.
  • Not be a current student or graduate of the University of Nottingham.
  • Not be currently studying in the United Kingdom.
